Many people know her as Mother Jenkins.

For years, Tamara traveled throughout the country performing alongside nationally recognized gospel artists, serving as an emcee, opening major concerts, and bringing audiences to tears of laughter through one unforgettable character—Mother Jenkins.

Whether appearing in churches, comedy clubs, community events, or on the stage of the Funny Bone Comedy Club, audiences embraced Mother Jenkins as if she were someone they already knew.

The remarkable part of the performance happened after the curtain closed.

Tamara would leave the stage, change into elegant attire, and quietly return to the audience.
